When money comes back, how to ask for it, and how long it takes.

Your statutory rights come first: the fourteen-day right of withdrawal in section 2 and the always-refunded cases in section 3 apply regardless of anything else on this site. Beyond those, bids are final once your listing is live and your crest is delivered.
1. Our position
What you buy is delivered immediately: the listing is placed and the crest is minted as soon as payment confirms. Once that has happened the purchase is final and we do not offer discretionary refunds — a rank that could be bought and unbought would not be a ledger.
That is our commercial position. It does not override the statutory rights below, which apply regardless of anything else on this site.
2. Statutory right of withdrawal
Withdrawal instruction (Widerrufsbelehrung)
Right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period ends fourteen days after the day the contract is concluded — the day your payment is confirmed.
To exercise the right, you must inform us — IP Strategy UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Niederrheinstraße 46f, 41472 Neuss, Germany, email info@ipstrategy-group.de — of your decision to withdraw by an unambiguous statement (for example an email or a posted letter). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. Sending your statement before the withdrawal period expires is sufficient to meet the deadline. Include the payment reference from your receipt so we can find the order quickly.
Effects of withdrawal. If you withdraw, we repay all payments received from you for the withdrawn contract without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days of the day we receive your statement, using the same means of payment you used, at no fee to you.
How immediate delivery affects the right
- The crest — digital content. The withdrawal right for the crest expires early where we have begun supplying it after you expressly consented to supply beginning immediately, acknowledged that you thereby lose the right, and received our confirmation of the contract — restating that consent — by email. You are asked for exactly this consent when you bid, and the order confirmation we send records it.
- The one-year listing — a service. Requesting immediate performance does not end this right. You may withdraw within the fourteen days; where the listing has already run at your request, we deduct a proportionate amount for the period already provided and refund the rest. Withdrawing after, say, seven days of a 365-day listing costs roughly 2% of the listing price.

If you are buying as a business rather than as a consumer, the statutory withdrawal right does not apply to you.
3. When we refund regardless
- We refuse your entry. If we decline a listing under clause 6 of the Terms of Sale, the payment is returned in full.
- We fail to deliver. If your listing does not appear or your crest is not supplied within the stated window and we cannot put it right, you get a full refund.
- Duplicate or technical charges. Charged twice for one bid, or charged a total other than the tax-inclusive total shown on the Dodo Payments checkout? Refunded in full, promptly.
- Unauthorised payment. Tell us and we will refund and remove the listing while it is investigated.
- We close the ledger. If the site is discontinued during your paid year, the unused portion of your seat is refunded pro rata.
4. How to ask
Email info@ipstrategy-group.de with the payment reference from your Dodo Payments receipt and a sentence on what happened. Requests can also be raised with Dodo Payments directly, as merchant of record, using that same reference.
We acknowledge every request within two business days.
5. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method — we cannot send them anywhere else. Dodo Payments processes them, typically within 5–10 business days, after which your bank or card issuer decides when the money appears. Where an entire purchase is refunded, the amount is removed from your cumulative total and the listing it paid for is withdrawn; corrections of duplicate or erroneous charges do not affect your listing. On a partial refund after withdrawing the listing (section 2), the listing ends and any crest already delivered remains yours.
6. Cancelling the annual Tribute
There is nothing to cancel. The Tribute is not a subscription and nothing is charged automatically — we email a reminder before each anniversary and you decide whether to pay. Ignore it and the listing lapses at the end of the paid year. Your titles and crests remain yours.
7. Chargebacks
If something has gone wrong, contact us first — it is faster than a chargeback and we would rather fix it. Where a chargeback is raised, the listing is suspended while the payment provider reviews it.
